We'll play some Munchkin Bites (vampire edition), and have a garlic-laden dinner. I'll provide the main dish. RSVP please. If I can't come up with any other social requests for January at Thursday's technical meeting, this might be dual-listed as the January social. I'm continuing a tradition that I enjoyed in undergrad, where a Chinese friend of mine organized a big group of friends to go out to eat (Chinese, of course) in celebration. Who: You, your friends and family What: Dinner When: 6:30 pm, Sunday January 25th Where: Hunan Chinese Restaurant, 844 S Broadway (between Kmart and Soldiers Field, next to Pizza Hut) Why: To celebrate the Chinese New Year Please RSVP with a head count by noon on Friday the 23rd so I can call for reservations. In past years they've allowed us to split the bill to each pay by credit card, but please don't count on that especially if we end up with a large group. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you there! Tina
